Welcome to Aura Global Yachts (auraglobalyachts.com). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and our services as a yacht charter brokerage. By accessing our website or submitting an inquiry, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Nature of Our Services

Aura Global Yachts operates strictly as an independent yacht charter broker (mediator). We connect clients (charterers) with third-party yacht owners and fleet operators (operators).

  • We do not own, manage, operate, or maintain any of the vessels listed on our website or B2B networks.
  • All bookings are subject to the availability and the specific terms provided by the respective fleet operator.

2. Booking Process and Options

  • Upon receiving your inquiry, we will provide you with available yacht options and price quotes.
  • We can place a temporary free hold (Option) on a selected yacht inside our network. Options are valid for a limited time (typically 3–5 days) and will expire automatically if not confirmed.
  • A booking is only considered confirmed once the required deposit is cleared in our bank account and the operator accepts the charter.

3. Payment Terms and Transit Accounts

  • Payment Structure: Payments are standardly split into a 50% Deposit to secure the booking and a 50% Balance Payment due 30 to 45 days prior to the charter embarkation date.
  • Financial Safety: All client funds for yacht rentals are safely handled via secure transit accounts. Aura Global Yachts retains its agreed commission and forwards the net charter fee directly to the fleet operator according to maritime regulations.
  • Clients are responsible for any international bank transfer fees or currency exchange costs.

4. The Yacht Charter Agreement (Charter Party)

  • For every confirmed booking, an official, legally binding Yacht Charter Agreement (Charter Party) will be issued by the fleet operator.
  • This agreement is signed digitally by the client and the operator. It dictates the official maritime rules, yacht delivery, safety protocols, and liability.
  • In the event of any conflict between these website Terms and the official Charter Party contract, the terms of the signed Charter Party shall prevail.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • If a client wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, the cancellation request must be sent in writing to info@auraglobalyachts.com.
  • Cancellation fees, refunds, and rescheduling are strictly dictated by the cancellation policy of the specific fleet operator as outlined in the signed Charter Party contract.
  • Broker Commission: In the event of a client-initiated cancellation, the broker’s earned commission is non-refundable.
  • Travel Insurance: We highly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel and trip-cancellation insurance to protect their financial investment against unforeseen circumstances.

6. Cruising Itineraries and Crew

  • Suggested 7-day or 14-day itineraries provided on our website or via email are for inspirational and planning purposes only.
  • The final route is always subject to weather conditions, safety protocols, and the absolute discretion of the professional Skipper (Captain) on board.
  • Any complaints regarding the crew performance or yacht condition during the charter must be reported immediately to the base manager at the marina.

7. Limitation of Liability

Aura Global Yachts shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by the vessel, the fleet operator, the crew, or due to acts of God, adverse weather, or political instability. Our maximum liability is strictly limited to the amount of the commission received for our mediation services.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Athens, Greece.
